Camp BoHoGro! A world premiere production will premiere at the Theatre for the New City's 2016 DreamUp Festival this September.
Singalongs, s'mores, and leading the free world... This is going to be the best summer ever!
If you've never heard of Bohemian Grove, it's just too damn interesting to pass by. Since 1878, the world's most prominent politicians, actors, musicians and businessmen among others come together for a men's-only summer camp. Greats and questionables from Richard Nixon to Ronald Reagan, to Walter Cronkite have convened over the years for two weeks each July in Monte Rio, California for a traditional romp. For years, undercover journalists and detractors have tried to paint a picture of the grand, sometimes bizarre and controversial goings-on. More can be read on Bohemian Grove here: http://www2.ucsc.edu/whorulesamerica/power/bohemian_grove_spy.html
The brain melt consortium have devised a political satire under the creative genius and direction of Rachel Kerry and Jessie Winograd. I will be appearing as Hunter S. in a cast of wacky, despicable and endearing characters.
